[ gambar BEST of the day. ] + cerita-cerita yang lainnya

Joe Cole STRIKES !
Next stop : Anfield.

OK?

Selamat dan salam semua.

soliloquisation.

Dear me,

Surely nothing seemed to be apparently ‘clear’ nowadays. Concurrently, the moment and time plunked at a standstill as I wrote this. The days went on as usual. Standard. Natural. Ordinary. Regular. Common. Typical. Normal. But the nights. The *nights*. Yes, the nights by some means are quite dissimilar than the days. The dreams do come and go; oftenly during my slumber. And it is remarkable how wonderful it can be when you really put a lot an effort onto that single thought.

I am de-focusing. Maybe I haven’t been putting my eyes on the prize. Distractions? Perhaps possibly so. In my case, the dream last night does actually rally around me a lot. It was so lucid. When you are in a state of trance, unconsciously (or perchancely conscious enough) abstracting away en route for that utter and implicit virtual terrain – therefore, hope is high.

Always but not for all eternity.

Truthfully sufficient, this is not just another queue or quote which I’ve picked up from Gaiman or Coelho or Gibran or Moore or Nasir(M.) any other of these sort of people (Murakami?). This is true. It is happening to me. I am guilty. Blameworthy and accountably wrong. I should’ve never undone my life like so and so. That’s why the dream last night approaches and… it is drawn closer, even though I am now stirringly awake. May I be pardon? Please. I just wanted to make myself ‘clear’ again.

I need that focus once more.

Eventually.

elakkan zombifikasi di mana jua anda berada.

[ On Saturday - Carrefour (again) for spaghetti components, brother had a minor toe nail surgery, an escapade over at Selayang, an appealing Cerekarama with a friend in it (aku taktau pulak kau boleh berlakon Fizlee!) and a SURPRISE phone call. On Sunday - Late morning arousal, family lunch, short nap, a ‘Children of Men’ semi-scrutiny, ‘Zombi Kampung Pisang’ at TGV Sunway Pyramid (dah macam wayang hari kantin sekolah dah aku tengok… renovation manjang!) and sister’s pre-birthday pizzeria dinner. Later on, Roy bare pleasant news about the future of making movies. Well done. ]

The weekend was so-so but amusingly fun here and there. I have; at a snail's pace, recovered from my illness. But somehow scorned by the fact that Chelsea didn’t prevail against Newcastle. Alahai ! Man. U dah seri, yang kau pun gatal nak seri apasal?! Anyhow, back to work today. On the last week of April, count-downing for Pesta Buku this Friday. I guess I’ll be updating you guys then if anything comes up. Plus, our friend Zid has a new NEW blog. I’m just happy that dia ada semangat baru nak berkarya.

Have a great week ahead, kawan-kawan semua!

Distortion. Distortion.

[ NOTE : 24+ hours of muscular dysfunction and irritation, MC on a yesterday, Malaysia 0 Hong Kong 1 - all hope for an Olympic berth is lost(again), will Klinsmann replaces Mourinho(?), Heath Ledger and ‘Casanova’, brisk and brief night stroll. Nevertheless, I am still recovering from this infirm illness. Thank you ]

Back to work today. My life and limb distorted. Please pray for my well-being soon, people… the ‘summer season’ is almost fast approaching. Aku taknak tengok wayang dalam ‘kesakitan’.

Aduh la, aduh.

Adakah 'demam' ?

[ Note: Shia Lebouf suddenly becomes a household name with a box-office thriller, ‘Disturbia’ opening at a No.1 spot this week. Next for him is ‘Transformers’ and the next installment of ‘Indiana Jones’. And talking about Transformers, Optimus Prime literally opens his mouth and spoke(with Beast Wars mouth-like), battling Bonecrusher, etc in a new TV spot on the net. Edward Norton is playing Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a ‘The Incredible Hulk’, is Laurence Fishburne really voicing Galactus in ‘Fantastic Four 2: Rise of the Silver Surfer’? and ‘Missing boy’ Yin found yesterday but the founder is being detained with indictment and accusation of some sort. I may probably getting ‘insured’ sometime soon next month(terima kasih Anas). Plus; CHELSEA vs MANCHESTER UNITED FA CUP FINAL 2007. And please don’t say kitorang menang sebab luck, damn bastich! ]

By the way, back to Gecko. Ceritanya pasal - Legasi Z. Lokman.

‘Nuff said!

p/s: Dan inilah jugak pertama kalinya ada orang buat comparison Z. Lokman dengan Peter Jackson. Ntah-hapa-hapa-ntah lu ni Gecko. Tapi gua puas hati dengan commentary lu. Kritikan kau menghiburkan. Syabas! Kau memang observant orangnya.

FIRST LOOK : ' IRON MAN '

Iron Man Mark-1

Prototype endo-skeleton grey robosuit first worn by Tony Stark before advancing on to the slick hi-tech aerodynamic red/yellow armoury robosuit. Watch this space for updates. Thank you. This is theSandman reporting .

[ Before there's any fanboy uproar over the suit's decidedly rustic and monotone appearance, however, let's remember that first of all; this is a battle suit. So, of course it's gonna look worn and battered. Second of all, Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man went through several incarnations before he settled into the cutting-edge, modern-day, red/yellow power suit. The fact that they've taken the time to show a likely abbreviated evolution of the suit means they care at least a little bit about the source material. Either way, the above is one slick looking throwback/homage to Iron Man's original suit. ]

Puisi Mandala Sukmarasa.

Ke Markas Ungu

Semalam aku ke markas ungu
Lama mungkin tidak ku temu
Taulan handai yang ‘jauh’ itu
Bikin rasa tampaknya rindu
Jadi aku mujur ke situ
Lambai berjabat melerai rindu
Kali ini diri tetamu
Bukan anggota yang kala dulu

Banyak sudah yang jadi beza
Duduk dan tempat sini dan sana
Cuma satu serasa sama
Senyum mesra menarik jiwa
Untuk kita bicara sama
Soal hidup, tugas berita
Dulu sekarang yang mana apa
Kenapa, bila, mengapa dan siapa.

Gurau tawa lucu jenaka
Melerai rindu yang jauh di kata
Semuanya tampil sembah cerita
Aku tumpu tanda persona
Telatah kerenah pemecah lara
Namun segala tak kekal lama
Saujana lagi pandangan mata
Pintu diluar panca persila

Kelana ini harus meluru
Lain ketika kita ketemu
Pesan buat kamu dan kamu
Cekal usaha tak kira tentu
Yakin pada hari nan satu
Kita jumpa bukan seteru
Tapi bersama menuju mercu

Pada DIA pohonlah restu.

" el communicator. "

[ weekends are primarily spent on cleaning up the bathroom, shopping toiletries at Carrefour, watching DVDs of ‘Finding Neverland’(I like this one) and ‘The Aviator’(yup… never had a view of it before), Sushi King, books at Kinokuniya, casual meeting with Kareno and Roy(Afterwork8 errands) and the new SS18 Subang Football Team(season ‘06/07) and futsal. Yesterday, brand new dial-up internet line replaces the previous wireless connection. I do believe that’s the first time I’ve used the word ‘new’ in one single paragraph. I am acutely serious about ‘new’ things. Inadvertently met Zeeka at Mamak Bistro, still pestering me of Teppanyaki. Today, a quick stop at one proverbial purple publishing house at Shah Alam.]

Do you possibly know or have any idea what’s the feeling like when your phone call was left unanswered, your SMSs left unreplied, and maybe perhaps both things happening at the same time? Especially when that particular call or message is something of great importance. Believe me when I said this sort of unrelentful occurrence happens all the time when more than ever, we need it fast; as soon as possible. But some of us(maybe me too) can be completely rational about the matter at hand.

*Maybe they’ve ran out of credits or perhaps can’t afford to buy any top-ups for the time being. *Maybe they’re in a meeting and couldn’t pick up you phone call. Maybe they’re recharging their handset and denied the privilege to reply/return your call/messages. Maybe they’d lost or misplaced their handset and cant’ sanely and irrationally figure out where they’ve put it before. *Maybe they’re sleeping, driving or withhold by a police road block along the way. *Maybe there’s no reception or connection at the place where they currently at. *Maybe
someone or somebody stole their handset while they carelessly let it slip away at a mamak or anywhere comfy for a ‘pencopet’ to do so.

So, how does it feel to you or to them when this sort of things happened with/without you knowing it? Please excuse yourself and please pardon them for doing so. I know I did. I’ve been both ; either side of the revelry. Anyhow, please, for the love of Almighty God; answer it and reply it if all of the justification above are not applicable. It mayhaps be imperatively important, you know?

( One which involves matter of feelings and emotions; in particular. )

Green Mean Fighting Machine !

Aku tak pegi. Diorang ajak tapi memang sengaja tak nak pegi. Bukan aku takut atau tak berani tapi aku... aku... aku... aku rasa cerita tak tu cukup seram lagi.

HAHAHA! ~ [ntah hapa-hapa ntah, tak best langsung alasan]

So, how's my timing so far ?

[ Note : Bumped into them yesterday and all the best, to which I believe is the Karangkraf’s FMI Bowling Team; Apai, Kak Ina, Kak Ida and of course, the whole bunch of team photo Karangkraf warming-up at the mesmerizeful RM1 karaoke wonderland. M.Nasir got a plentiful of final nominations for this year AIM, plus THREE Best Songs nomination: Juwita, Sang Pencinta and Tujuh Nafas Lagi. Chelsea drew with Valencia 1-1. Getting to know Damien Rice, accidental MF Ajif and Ninja Turtles after work. Still contemplating for a new pair of shoes or sneakers perhaps. Any ideas ? ]
I have to write this fast. Swift and quick with speed. As fast as I could probably can(or is it the other way round and around?). TIME Maybe time is running out. Yes, go hear that song by Muse. Chasing us for reasons only god knows. But to be bluntly honest, I just feel the need to put this on paper. If, you(really) know what I(really) mean. Remember the time(!), when time used to move calm with senses of tranquility. Slowly. That time, my fellow friend; have passes us by. Time is no more of privilege. It has become ‘luxurious’. Only time will tell... Time life well.

* END TIME.

Monday itu adalah Isnin.

Yesterday : Roy’s(KLP) back from Japan, lunch with Shahiran, NEW Transformers TV ad/trailer, chitty-chatting with 4 people on meebo simultaneously(aku takde YM), meeting at work, salary’s in, a friend bare unpleasant news of a break-up, naniharyani(KLIK) is quitting her job, an SMS which made me deeply in concern and worried of someone, ‘The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou’ and stupid rat broke something in the kitchen.

Today
: Karaoke for lunch, Roy’s(Afterwork8) back from Langkawi with/ stories and new phone number, Aura's back from kampung and futsal for tomorrow, unexpected+delightful news from Juliana.

Aku pun rasa macam tu dulu. Sekarang dah tak lagi(kot).

Tambah-tambah lagi Isnin yang semalam. Semalam, mata aku di 'bukak' besar sikit. Dari Isnin-Isnin yang sebelumnya. Isnin semalam macam best.

meet the new weekend.

It rained and it rained heavily on Sunday… yesterday. It’s the weekend and I found it quite a blessing for me to sleep overtime. ‘Officially’ woke up past 11am. Pondered of going to the cinema; with my girl. Owh! Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Aku takde girlfriend(lagi). Ahehe! Tapi aku ada Farzana, Faris dan Fadhilah. Jadi, Sapa nak tengok wayang, cepat mandi. Lambat... TINGGAL !

One Utama was the destination. ‘Meet the Robinsons’ was the movie of the day. Initially, we planned for a 12.30pm screening but due to 'predicted' lateness, 12.50pm is the new time instead. We arrived later on and there goes your typical weekenders lining up for tickets. Again re-scheduled for a 2.10pm slot. As I queud up quitely pretending to be all calm and composed(sebenarnya geram line panjang nak M*&%#%$), I surprised myself by stumbling upon Syawal (of Karangkraf), with his fiancee and soon-to-be wife in May. As we chitty-chatter talking of things and stuff, deep infront was Fendi@Bob. A long friend of mine since high school in Subang and UiTM of Shah Alam. Bob, meanwhile, is a newly wed and I was his escort(pengapit-lah!) back then. With his wife, they both looked happy, smiley and everything. And my thoughts and feelings were considerately ‘high’ at that time. Attempting imaginations and hallucinations through and through. I leave the rest up to you people.

Now, back to the movie. Surprisingly enough, ‘Meet the Robinsons’ is a somewhat a breakthrough for Disney. No spoiler intended here but I’m totally amused and bemused by it. The approach, the message, and of course, the whole pacing and plotting of the story itself. Unorthodoxingly new-age(that’s the wording I’m looking for). My 'lil bro and sis enjoyed it. They had fun. If you are a grown-up watching this, you might understood something else entirely. That is, if you happened to be 'deep enough' to read in-between the lines. I wonder what will Mr.Walt Disney would have said about this once he is still alive today.
