In all seriousness, friends are good for you (especially the BEST ones)

I had the chance to meet up with a good(not so old) friend yesterday. It's been a long time since last we met. I think maybe more or less than a year or so. Only the casual online FB and YM chitty-chatter when we have the time to banter. The initial plan was to discuss a working schedule for an upcoming project involving perhaps for a big client. Obviously a good friend, like they always be, wouldn't be just sitting there and talk about business. We would usually extend our random and rare meeting further onwards. She shared a story or two on how life experiences has taken its toll. Falling and being love, in and out again. And there's the casual working antics, finding the best way to make things better. And of course there's the story of the past and future, of what went well and what goes wrong. With people wanting to share personal matters with me has been always a pleasure. More often than not, it's something of an indication that people trust and admire you honesty, generosity and company in friendship. We used to be close but as we move along, the distance becomes apart. Like so many other friends, we did not loose contact.

The rarity of friendship is always a blessing for me.

See, good friends are more than special.

They tend to know you better, which even you yourself could'nt even aware nor notice most of time. They can also 'magically' look through you. You appeal. Your exposition. Your strength. Your weakness. They can see what's good and what's bad for you. the way they give advice and pointers and a helping hand when you needed the most. Sometimes by not even asking. Most of us have the privilege to be around them.

It is when I can see clearly that people can ACTUALLY take me seriously as I am. I may not say this this often. Thank you for the trust. Thank you for the opportunity. Thank you for the chance. And thank you for hope.

Thank you all.
